El Nido Clio lovers - your new vintage has arrived...
We fell in love with this wine - yes it is hedonistic - but it's depth and exuberance wins our hearts. ChrisAnn and I even treked out to Jumilla to see the vineyard and winery (click.)
The new 2009 vintage is out and we are going to pull a few bottles of the previous vintage from our library for comparison - taste them both starting Friday evening (while the 2008 lasts.) And it is not just us that loves this wine, Clio has averaged as score from the critics of 95 points for 7 consecutive years.
